Merax Electric Treadmill Maintenance & Adjustment Tips: 
If the running surface becomes too tight or too loose, turn the bolts near the end caps counter-clockwise will loosen the belt, and turn clockwise tighten the belt. Detailed photo instruction can be found in the manual.
