Connect has input and output(s) where you can output (analog, rca digital, and fiber digital) Sonos music to an existing sound source (such as existing amplifier/receiver) and also has input in order to convert sound from that device and bring into Sonos system (ie. whatever that receiver is playing can then play to all Sonos speakers).
