Nomex cores are super lightweight and are is on of the original cores that were first used in pickleball paddles. We tend to see that serious pickleball players stick to the Nomex Core Paddles or at least have some Nomex Core Paddles in their top picks of padddles. Nomex cores start as a cardboard type of material that is dipped in resin and then laid between the two faces of the paddle. This is done in a honeycomb pattern and thus the nickname honeycomb core which is also common in the industry. Nomex cores are a great choice among top players even with all the changing technology and improvements in other leading core technology's.
