• POST FEATURES: Constructed of heavy-duty 11-gauge steel. Internal wind self-locking gear mechanism. Integrated welded steel lacing rods. Baked-on polyester powder coat finish. Gears are constructed of plated steel and the small gear is case hardened. Gear housings & caps are made of cast aluminum alloy. Gear function is 30:1 for smooth, easy operation. • ADD A NET: Douglas offers a pickleball net in two sizes. Both nets have a 2-Ply vinyl coated polyester headband and 3.0 mm netting with 285 lb break strength. They also include 1/2” fiberglass side dowels and lacing cord. The standard size, which meets the USAPA requirements for official pickleball net sizes, measures 36"H x 22'L. The shorter model measures 31"H x 22'L and allows the balls to roll underneath.
• ADD GROUND SLEEVES: Pickleball post ground sleeves are essential for keeping your net in place. They allow you to slide otherwise permanent net sleeves from the ground so you have an easier time during maintenance or making room for other activities. The Edwards Round Steel Sleeves are made from galvanized steel and include sleeve plugs. The Putterman PVC Sleeves are made from durable schedule 40 PVC and measure 24” long. Both types come in pairs.
